I agree with you. AI is here and will continue to expand. I also agree with your comments on “scriptnotists”. Do I use AI? Absolutely. I have a variety of tools that I use to help with marketing, or when brain-storming articles. I still write my own stuff-not Chat GPT. As a 5-PATH practitioner for almost 10-years now, I don’t even have a script and definitely would NOT expect AI to write one for me. Instead, I create a session plan based on pre-interviews with the clients, and their inputs to the online forms I have them fill out.
Even then, how many times have we had a script, or plan and then something comes up within a session and we have to adjust? It happens a lot. When we deal with people, dynamic changes happen and as HUMAN Hypnotists, we have to be skilled enough to make quick shifts according to where the client needs to go at that moment. That’s the benefit of a 5-PATH trained professional. Neither a scriptnotist or a computer can do that.
As a science and technology guy, I’m excited about where AI is going-not to do my hypnosis, but for finding ways to apply it to my business.
