It's so fun to watch these again, and realize how much both having the sessions, doing the podcasts about them and continuing to engage and talk about it has really helped me be a better hypnotist.
Something else that has helped, that I don't think I ever mentioned in the podcast, is that now it also gives me credibility with friends and family who are potential referral sources. I tell them about what I learned in my sessions, and they can see the difference on a personal level, and that keeps my services in their minds.
This episode was definitely the best of the 4 part series. I love your report from the inside of how powerful the forgiveness phase of 5Path is. From the outside I have to admit, though I talk about forgiveness and understand its power on a conscious level, hearing you express yourself about forgiveness through 5Path from an insider's perspective is truly revealing and marvelous. What a great wake-up call for us all. Thanks for doing this series. I was excited to learn that it was Stephanie Greene, a wonderful practitioner, who was your hypnotist. How many actual days did you work with her? Were there days in between sessions? (Forgive me if you mentioned this on the first episode. I jumped in at #2)
I know this has sparked an inner light for me and my hypnosis practice. I look forward to chatting with you at the NGH convention. George
Thank you Cal and Brenda for another great podcast.
Cal I love your description of life becoming like a "mine field" if issues aren't dealt with. So instead of being able to go directly from point a->b, you end up avoiding all the problem areas which takes longer and can be very challenging.
Brenda I can't wait to hear the conclusion next week, thanks for sharing your experience!
George, thank you so much for sharing, it means a lot to know that this series is inspiring other people, both personally and professionally. Stephanie was wonderful throughout this process, and I'm so glad I developed this relationship with us. There's a reason that she's in Cal's "Real Hypnosis Business Success" book, she's doing great work, and 5-PATH is such a great system to get clients where they need to be to achieve their goals!
To answer your question about the process, we did everything pretty much the same that she and I both see clients. We generally had sessions once a week, however we skipped a week here and there because of snow days or schedule conflicts. We had 6 sessions working through my 5 PATH process. Each one was a valuable part of the process.
In episode 4 we talk about "results" and wrap things up, answering that important question: "did it work?" 🙂
