By "blocker" suspect that you mean, one who will not go to the ISE as instructed. I don't think that is necessary, but it could be done. To do that I'd move to Phase III, Forgiveness of Others Work (or Therapy) and when they are in an emotional state I could use it to trigger yet another age regression to the ISE.
Am I right in thinking that you mean "one who will not regress" when you say "blocker"?
Hi Cal and thanks for your input on this.
Meredith used 'blocker' when talking about (as you say) the part of the client that is afraid or what ever to be exposed to the ISE.
I was thinking that if I were in this predicament I would briefly switch to 'Parts' just to try to ease the situation with the part blocking the smooth access to the ISE. Then If I were successful I'd switch back to the original task of finding the ISE, hopefully this would not take me too far of course.
Your suggestion regarding accessing the ISE during the forgiveness phase is sound and obviously workable but (like you) I'm 'methodical', I like to stick to a tried and tested plan and not move on until I have satisfied all that is required to go to the next step. I suppose this is why I came up with the idea.
I thought I'd leave this comment just to save myself a lot of trouble in the future dew to me not thinking things through properly (as usual). Therefore your comments would be gladly received.

Really grate info and free too, could you switch to parts therapy to deal with the blocker?
