Cal, I love when you toss out ideas sometimes I self debate those for days. As to the idea of time tunneling for self age regression I would be concerned as with any self age regression that a client could go to a "bad" place and not be able to turn a positive outcome. In other words couldn't they come out even more negatively connected? How would you approach it in such a way that they turn their problem into a positive learning experience? Keep up the great work I love you, Meridith, Elron, and Celeste and never miss your weekly videos.
Regarding self-regression using TTT I only recommend this for people who are mature and mentally healthy, basically normal people. In this case the adult aspect of the the individual is always going to be able to process an earlier event better than the immature and ignorant perspective of the child. Yes, the event could be initially upsetting, but with some processing from the adult point of view I believe the client will always be better off. Also, everyone who learns TTT is either a hypnotherapist or working with a hypnotherapist, so if he/she needed help processing an event they have the ability to contact their hypnosis professional.
Thanks for watching our videos. We are so glad that we can bring you some value in this way. Please let your hypno-friends know about us. And, if you haven't done so already makes sure you become a VIP member and visit/like http://www.facebook.com/hypnosisetc
I just reposted this video on our page on http://www.facebook.com/hypnosisetc for Flashback Thursday because this is such an important topic, AND because I know you all miss Meredith!
Not sure why I didn't comment on this episode when I first watched it last year, but I will now.
This is a really worthwhile episode for any hypnosis professional to watch. As usual, there are those little golden nuggets of wisdom. Also the discussion of how to proceed with a client after a long break is especially useful. Now I have no hesitation or doubts as to how to handle the situation when it arrives.
And of course, TTT is now well and truely instilled and successful in our practice!
Some of these older episodes are so valuable, I hope more folks watch them.
