Note: Marc Mallat is no longer a trainer for the Banyan Hypnosis Center. His status as a Certified Professional Hypnotherapy Instructor was revoked in 2009.
Hmmm... Enjoyed watching this early podcast Cal & was wondering how Marc was going now, all these years later. I know that sadly his part of the world is still not a particularly peaceful place. 😔
I'm sorry to see his instructor status was revoked because I think he was right that 7th Path was needed in his part of the world. But, what I know about you Cal, I do believe that you must have had a very good reason to make that decision.
Marc Mallat has helped me tremendously through a personal crisis and is constantly helping so many others like me, people who have been suffering awfully at the hands of so-called professionals (who didn't even know what they were doing). I had been seeing "expert professionals" for years before I met him, and before he completely transformed my life to the better, forever; and I also know many others whose lives he transformed for the better.
I was recommending Marc Mallat to a friend who needed help and I was really shocked to see the link (here) which she sent me when she was looking him up on the Internet. She started blaming me for recommending someone whose "status was revoked", foolishly thinking that he was ONLY certified by the Banyans center, while the matter of the fact is that he is a competent hypnotherapy practitioner, with tons of other certifications and qualifications and decades of experience in hypnotherapy...
It is so sad to see that someone who is a colleague would use words which could hurt someone else's reputation and prevent them from helping others...
Marc Mallat has done and is still doing wonders in "his part of the world" because he is very competent at hypnotherapy and does it from the heart.
If you'll please excuse me for saying this: using words such as "His status as a Certified Professional Hypnotherapy Instructor was revoked in 2009" in general without clarifying that it was only "revoked" from the Banyan Hypnosis Center specifically, will make people, like my friend who led me to you, think that he was not who everybody knows he is - a caring and competent therapist.
I do wish you all the best, as I always wish Marc.
